Cadillac's all-new CT6 range-topping sedan will go on sale in the spring, and the company has just announced pricing for the tech-laden sedan that will aim for Team Germany.Buyers will have three engines to choose from, with the turbocharged 2.0-liter I4 kicking off the range with a starting price of $54,490.The range-topping powerplant, meanwhile, will be a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 pumping out 400 hp for a starting MSRP of $65,390. Both V6 models will be offered with all-wheel drive standard, and all engines will be coupled to GM's eight-speed automatic transmission.
The CT6 is an entirely new approach to prestige luxury, adding driving dynamics and technology while reducing the bulk of traditional large sedans," said Johan de Nysschen, president of Cadillac
Production of the new CT6 will begin in January with first deliveries pegged for March. A CT6 plug-in hybrid model with a preliminary all-electric range of 37 miles and fuel-economy figures double those of the 2.0-liter version, will debut sometime later in the product cycle.
